Lilian Garcia recently took some time out of her busy schedule to blog about her recent travels. Here's what she had to say: - Hi everyone, Hope the New Year has been treating you all well so far. As always I have been busy flying around to WWE shows. In fact, recently I went to Mexico, Chile & Peru with Smackdown. It was truly amazing! Not only were the cities incredible but also the way the fans welcomed us was unbelievable!! In Lima, Peru I went to my first catacombs ever and it was freaky!! I have never seen so many skulls! Here are some photos from the trip! Now as much as I love traveling, I also love staying at home in NYC and participating in all the NY/NJ fun. Well, that is exactly what I got to do these pasts’ few weeks. I got to perform the National Anthem for the NY Knicks game at Madison Square Garden (they won that game!), performed “God Bless America” at MSG for the Big East Championship Tournament between Syracuse & W. Virginia (NY won!). I also sang at Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City with “4-Speed” and also made an appearance on the “Mike and Juliet Morning Show”. I want to thank all the fans that came to show their support. It truly means the world to have people rooting for you & wanting to see you succeed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Last night on ECW, the WWE announced that Ring Announcer Howard Finkel will be inducted into the 2009 Hall Of Fame. They showed a video package of the Fink's career highlights, including his feud against Lilian. WWE.com added a photo shoot from a Lilian concert as their photo shoot of the day. --- Also, WWE.com auction's site has Lilian's Boxing photo shoot outfit up for auction. She wore the outfit during last years Wrestle Mania photo shoot where Lilian, along with several other Divas, promoted Mayweather vs Big Show boxing match at WM 24. Lilian Signed/Worn Boxing Outfit [Click here to bid] is up for auction. The opening bid is set for $100 and is set to close on March 27th, 2009. | ||

Also, Lilian is singing Friday night at one of the biggest basketball conference tournaments, singing at the Big East Tournament semifinals in Madison Square Garden. The two teams facing off is yet to be determined. Here is what WWE.com posted about her appearance Friday: Raw ring announcer Lilian Garcia will sing "God Bless America" at the Big East Conference Men's Basketball Tournament Friday night at Madison Square Garden. Lilian is scheduled to sing before the second semifinal matchup at 9 p.m. ET. | ||

Candice was interviewed by a Cleveland newspaper recently, and had the following to say about Lilian: 1.) Submitted by Jordan: Candice, who are your traveling partners? - Oh gosh, I travel with Lilian a lot. It's funny, when I first started with WWE, I would travel alone because I was shy and kept to myself. I wasn't sure how it worked but once you get yourself out there, you make friends. I've been traveling with Lilian for about 2 years now. I've also traveled with Victora, Charlie Haas and Mickie James. | ||
